I've spent my last four years in Nashville in partnership with a participatory urban design collective called the Nashville Youth Design Team and supporting an evaluation of an action civics curriculum in Nashville's middle schools. You can learn a little more below!

The Nashville Youth Design Team uses a variety of place-based methods (including GIS, mobile methods, focus groups, and survey) to explore the question: What do young people in Nashville need to be healthy and well? They then use their research to inform designs of built environment solutions that address the most pressing needs in Nashville young people's lives.
